About the Role

NCG is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Worker to join our team. As a Learning Support Worker, you will work closely with learners who require additional support to access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and small group support to learners with mild or complex learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Work under the direction and supervision of managers and teaching staff to deliver high-quality support.
  • Facilitate learners' independence, personal care needs, and access to learning.
  • Collaborate with a hardworking and passionate team to achieve the best outcomes for learners.

Requirements

  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills (Level 2 achievement/ability in English and maths).
  • Competent IT skills.
  • Willingness to undertake regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Experience of working with and supporting special needs learners within an educational context.
  • Proven ability to build good relationships with teaching staff.
