Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Retail Designer to join our growing team. As a key member of the design team, you will play a vital role in conceptualizing, developing, and delivering exceptional retail design solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor junior, middleweight, and senior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive design environment.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality design projects within budget constraints.
  • Possess expert knowledge of design costs across various project scales and confidently design within budgetary expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into compelling design concepts.
  • Develop innovative and creative retail design solutions that align with brand identity and strategic objectives.
  • Produce detailed design drawings, presentations, and specifications for construction documentation.
  • Stay abreast of current industry trends, materials, and technologies in the field of retail design.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Retail Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Excellent understanding of the retail landscape, brand experience, and the design and production process.
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury, beauty, lifestyle brands, and the wider retail industry.
  • Strong grasp of aesthetics, tone of voice, brand positioning, and retail strategy.
  • Expert proficiency in SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and rendering software (ideally VRay).
  • Good working knowledge of 3D modeling software such as C4D/Rhino or other digital platforms (Spark AR, Unreal etc.).
  • Strong understanding of spatial design principles.
