Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturer-based services, adhering to manufacturer-specific requirements.
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Conduct basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify and rectify issues.
  • Participate in a manufacturer-supported training program to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Follow warranty processes for each manufacturer, adhering to the correct level of repair.
  • Utilize initiative and flexibility to react to change quickly and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and individually to achieve departmental goals.
Objectives for the Role
  • Adhere to service processes, following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Carry out warranty repairs, following manufacturer processes.
  • Deliver work on time and to a high standard, managing individual workload and prioritizing tasks.
  • Analyze data, understand simple mechanical and electrical faults, and conclude on how to rectify these issues.
  • Ensure continuous development, staying up-to-date with changing products and market trends.
  • Contribute to a team environment, ensuring successful delivery of departmental demands.
  • Develop strong time management and organizational skills, working under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Provide concise and legible write-ups of work carried out.
  • Be willing to develop in line with manufacturer-supported training and learning journeys.
Requirements
  • Hold a full UK driving license, with a minimum of 12 months' experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working on motor vehicles.
  • Trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 standards or manufacturer equivalent level.
  • Customer brand qualifications are desirable but not essential, with training provided.
  • Basic understanding of EV vehicles, with training provided.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to learn, read, and analyze data.
  • Utilize initiative and flexibility, reacting to change quickly and effectively.
  • Adapt to new systems and apply knowledge through practical application.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of departmental goals.
