Assistant Audit Manager Job Description

Robert Walters UK is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Audit Manager to join their team in Watford. As an Assistant Audit Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the firm by supporting senior staff with audit assignments, managing fieldwork, and reviewing audit files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior staff with audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Manage fieldwork, including planning, execution, and review of audit files.
  • Engage in business development and networking events to identify new opportunities and build relationships.
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification with 2+ years of post-qualified audit experience in a UK firm.
  • Strong UK GAAP knowledge and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
