Audit Manager Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager Assistant to join our team at Hillier Hopkins LLP. As an Audit Manager Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our audit directors, senior managers, and managers with audit assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Audit Assignments: Assist audit directors, senior managers, and managers with audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Staff Booking and Management: Book appropriate staff to conduct audit assignments, ensuring the right skills and expertise are allocated to each task.
- File Review and Completion: Review and complete files, highlighting key issues to the audit team and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Invoice Management: Raise invoices in accordance with agreed billing profiles, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Business Development and Networking: Engage in business development and attend networking events to promote the firm's services and build relationships with clients and partners.
Requirements
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Experience: At least 2 years' post-qualified audit experience from a UK accountancy firm.
- Skills: Strong ability to identify key risk areas at planning and completion, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Personal Qualities: Able to work on own initiative, be flexible, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
