We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our quality team at Refresco. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality standards of our products are met, while demonstrating our company values.
About the Role
- Sampling and analysis of raw materials, manufacturing process, and finished goods to ensure compliance with chemical and microbiological standards.
- Micro analysis of samples using specified methods and reporting results to Technical/Production Managers for corrective actions.
- Observing and maintaining company health and safety procedures, and ensuring the continuance of updating procedures.
- Providing technical support to other company departments as required.
- Assisting Quality Management with implementation of quality systems and project work.
- Maintaining and calibrating analytical equipment to required standards and schedules.
- Carrying out product sensory panels to meet requirements.
- Ensuring raw materials and chemicals used within the laboratory are within acceptable date criteria.
- Ensuring the quality laboratory operation meets the requirements of external accredited bodies by following procedures carefully.
- Supporting team members to provide resource whenever required to resolve problems and prevent customer and consumer complaints.
- Arranging service contracts and maintaining equipment to high standards.
- Ordering all materials and equipment as required.
- Ensuring all quality and food safety checks are carried out satisfactorily.
- Ensuring GMP and internal audits are completed on time.
