About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our NPD Laboratory, you will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping and organization, supporting sample preparation, and managing stock consumables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the NPD Laboratory is ready for work at all times, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Support the NPD team with sample preparation, production sample retrieval, and testing.
  • Manage ingredient stocks, packaging, equipment, and request samples as needed.
  • Perform equipment calibrations, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintain paperwork.
  • Handle daily dispatches, raw material receipt, and assist with sensory testing.
  • Manage production material assessments and act as a Health and Safety advocate.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to processes and managing audit actions.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a laboratory format, although training will be provided. You should also have experience in a food/drink manufacturing environment. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for quality, we encourage you to apply.
