Overview

Synchro is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead strategic governance, planning, and documentation initiatives within our cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-off role, requiring the successful candidate to focus on infrastructure governance, risk management, and strategic planning within the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure governance frameworks to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation.
  • Provide expertise in cloud infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams.
  • Requirements
    • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
    • Proven expertise in governance frameworks, risk management, and infrastructure documentation.
    • Experience working with key Azure technologies, including Landing Zones, Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, RBAC, Azure Policies/Guard Rails, and FinOps.
    • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation processes and procedures.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Desirable experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Role: Cloud Infrastructure Manager

Contract Length: Initial 6 months (Extension Available)

Rate: Up to £585 per day (Inside IR35)
