Our Data Centre Solutions (DCS) team provides integrated real estate, facilities, and technology solutions for data centre owners, occupiers, and investors.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Technical Manager to provide technical leadership, management, and development of a defined contract.

The successful candidate will ensure risk mitigation measures are in place for the assets under contract and act as Technical Lead on a Data Centre Campus and the SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and management of a defined contract
  • Ensure risk mitigation measures are in place for assets under contract
  • Act as Technical Lead on a Data Centre Campus and the SAP
  • Support account management teams and stakeholders in delivering services within the role's scope
  • Liaise with the Data Centre Manager and Client to ensure maintenance work complies with site policies and health and safety requirements
  • Undertake Authorised Engineer/AP duties and provide support out of office hours
  • Act as the focal point for all technical matters and provide portfolio-wide technical support
  • Check CBRE technical project progress on time and within budget
  • Support the Data Centre Manager in embedding CERMTM methodology across the campus
  • Provision of healthy and safe working conditions and implement health and safety policies
  • Provide technical support in all aspects of the contract, including shutdowns and projects
  • Act as part of the Crisis Management Team
  • Support clients with construction and renewal project information
  • IT literate in MS Office and systems management software
  • Management experience with sub-contractors and supply chain partners
  • Experience in a previous Data Centre environment
  • Experience in Building Maintenance training
