You will work closely with stakeholders on site and globally to introduce new manufacturing methods and solutions onto the shop floor.

Your Profile:

  • Hold a university degree or relevant experience in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or similar)
  • Have a basic understanding of Additive Manufacturing Processes and their optimization, focusing on metals
  • Be keen to work with real-life open-ended problem-solving
  • Possess strong communication skills with internal customers and external partners, as well as an understanding of strategic technology planning and technology road-mapping
  • Be autonomous in working and self-initiative, with strategic thinking, organizational & coordination, and results orientation
  • Have training on some quality methodology, like Six Sigma, TQM, or Lean (etc)
  • Be able to work as an integral part of an agile, growing team
  • Have some knowledge of metallurgy and metal working, which would be an advantage

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute development programs
  • Define, plan, lead, and execute R&D activities together with the technology development team
  • Interface with internal counterparts on R&D projects
  • Provide status reporting to PM as well as MSL & SE management
  • Drive the execution of new manufacturing processes and tools
  • Ensure quality requirements are met during AM process development to internal and customer requirements
  • Spearhead the adoption and implementation of the latest AM best practices to ensure repeatable and reliable manufacture
  • Troubleshoot problems and find innovative solutions
  • Coordinate with other disciplines within the company, such as Sales, Operations, Quality, and Design
