Chase and Holland, a fast-growing business based in the Gainsborough area, is seeking a Part-time Credit Controller to join their finance team on an initial minimum of 3-4 months, with the potential for a longer-term position for the right candidate. This role is integral to the finance function, supporting the credit control process for a large number of accounts during their busiest periods.
Key Responsibilities:- Chase overdue debt via phone and email to maximize cash collection and agree payment plans
- Manage a number of live accounts, including reconciliations
- Raise credit notes and send out statements
- Set up new customer accounts, including credit checking and agreeing credit terms
- Process direct debit payments
- Assist the credit control manager and colleagues with ad-hoc projects and queries
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Must be IT literate, including in Excel
- Organized, hardworking, and passionate about making a real difference to the business
