About the Role

We are Systems Engineering and Assessment Limited, a leading provider of engineering and assessment services. Our team is dedicated to protecting what matters, and we're looking for a skilled Project Manager to join us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bids, projects, tasks, and work packages, taking responsibility for outcomes, budget, quality, and timescales.
  • Plan and schedule projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  • Support the implementation of Earned Value Management and maintain reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Allocate and manage tasks with project delivery teams, facilitating regular meetings to track progress.
  • Generate a monthly project pack, including key metrics and information on project progress, financial status, and customer dependencies.
  • Identify, manage, and track project risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive mitigation and optimization.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer-furnished equipment and information, as well as customer dependencies.
  • Ensure project documentation is correctly configuration-controlled and deliverable items are issued to customers on time.
  • Commit to personal continued professional and competence development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
Requirements
  • Previous project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Experience with schedule management, budget management, and Earned Value Management.
  • Previous experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management.
  • Desirable: Defence industry knowledge and experience working with complex projects and programmes.
