Responsibilities of the Client Support Specialist
  • Manage applications (warm transfers from the sales team) involving sensitive health inquiries
  • Accurately input information into systems
  • Provide regular updates to clients via phone and email throughout the application process
  • Proactively address queries from clients and insurers
  • Resolve issues that may hinder policy activation, collaborating with the Advised Sales Team to support clients through necessary adjustments
  • Promote a strong culture of compliance and regulatory principles, including Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
  • Take ownership of personal development regarding business understanding, regulations, and the insurance sector, staying informed of changes and sharing knowledge with colleagues
  • Adhere to Howden Life & Health data protection policies, ensuring the safety of all data
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the business.
