Job Title: Children and Young People Specialist

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children and Young People Specialist to join our team in the Ashford area. We are looking for an individual who has experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is passionate about providing them with the support and care they need to succeed.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Children and Young People Specialist to work in a specialist SEMH provision. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with complex behaviour and a passion for supporting and developing pupils with additional learning needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and develop pupils with additional learning needs
  • Work with children with complex behaviour and develop strategies to manage their behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support package for pupils
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for pupils to learn and grow
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in provisions in mainstream schools or SEND Schools
  • Experience working in a School or with young people with complex behaviour
  • Ability to work with children with complex needs and develop strategies to support them
  • Passion for supporting and developing pupils with additional learning needs
