Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aviation Security Officer to join our team at London City Airport. As an Aviation Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our passengers, employees, and airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security checks on passengers, employees, and airport facilities to prevent unauthorized access and ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including suspicious behavior, security breaches, and emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with airport security teams, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices.
  • Participate in training and exercises to maintain and enhance security skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
