Work Schedule:
Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (subject to operational requirements)

Stafforce Recruitment is collaborating with a reputable family-owned business seeking to hire 2x Overnight Warehouse Associates to enhance their team.


This organization specializes in the wholesale distribution of fresh produce, dairy items, and various goods to educational institutions, restaurants, and care facilities throughout the region.

The need for these roles has arisen due to the company's expansion and the successful acquisition of new contracts.


Key Responsibilities:


As a Warehouse Associate, your primary focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately picking orders and loading delivery vehicles to guarantee timely departures.

You will also be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments from suppliers, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, and upholding Health & Safety regulations.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically will enhance your productivity and efficiency in this role.


Essential Duties:
  • Accurately process, load, and pack orders in a timely manner.
  • Organize inventory and maintain stock control, adhering to the First In, First Out principle.
  • Inspect products prior to packing to ensure top-notch quality.
  • Follow all procedures related to warehousing, receipt of goods, and verification of delivery documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Keep the warehouse environment clean and tidy, contributing ideas for operational improvements.
  • Report any known product shortages to the warehouse supervisor.

Requirements:


Ability to work in a refrigerated setting and lift items weighing up to 25kg.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Forklift certification is desirable.
Candidates with two years of warehouse experience and solid product knowledge will have an advantage.
