Salary: £26,000

Working Hours: Sunday 08:00am to 18:00pm / Weekdays 14:00pm to 22:00pm

Work Days: Sunday to Thursday (subject to operational requirements)

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is collaborating with a reputable family-owned business seeking a Logistics Loader to enhance their team.

This organization specializes in wholesale distribution of fresh produce, dairy items, and various goods to educational institutions, restaurants, and care facilities throughout the region. The need for this role has arisen due to the expansion of the business and the acquisition of new contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the warehouse team, your primary duties will include:

• Loading the appropriate crates, bulk items, and orders onto delivery vehicles in the correct sequence to align with the planned delivery route.
• Ensuring accuracy in the loading process to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while optimizing storage space.
• Documenting daily activities, including waste management and inventory discrepancies.
• Reporting any issues or shortages in completed orders to the supervisor.
• Utilizing warehouse equipment safely and effectively once trained.
• Being physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 25kg.
• Upholding quality standards during the order picking process.
• Adhering to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• A forklift license is preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience and product knowledge will be advantageous.
