The Role

As the Chef Manager, you'll be responsible for the operational and financial management of our school catering facilities. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service while showcasing your creativity and flair.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing kitchen team
  • Managing catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
  • Ensuring consistency in food and service standards
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing controllable costs and improving efficiency
  • Overseeing menu development and implementation
  • Maintaining company systems, procedures, and legislation compliance
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
About You

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • OND or HND qualification (desirable)
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial acumen and experience with gross profit management
  • Line management experience
  • Experience in a similar environment
