Inside Sales Representative Job Description

International Process Plants (IPP) is a leading international seller and buyer of industrial plants and equipment in the petrochemical, chemicals, and pharmaceutical industries.

We are seeking a skilled Inside Sales Representative to join our Equipment Sales Group. In this role, you will work closely with Senior Sales Managers to resolve customer inquiries and offer solutions to drive company revenue using a consultative approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve customer questions and complaints in a timely manner
  • Develop personalized business plans to maximize customer contact and ensure repeat sales
  • Maintain detailed account profiles and prepare sales reports as required
  • Attend and participate in company-supported events and industry trade shows
  • Occasionally travel to visit high-value customer sites and other company facilities
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong phone and negotiation skills
  • Strong financial focus, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making, and quantitative analysis
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Project, Visio, and CRM tools
  • Experience with process-related industries or a strong mechanical background
