About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team at Teach Now. This full-time, long-term role is a replacement position, providing essential support and continuity for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and supporting small group and one-on-one interventions
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons alongside the teaching staff
  • Providing additional support for students with special educational needs
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers
  • Contributing to the school's wider community and participating in school events
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with HLTA qualifications
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents
  • A passion for supporting and nurturing the educational and emotional development of children
  • Experience with SEN support would be advantageous
