Job Overview:

Quest Employment is seeking candidates for Flexi/Bendi roles on a temporary basis in Orton Southgate, Peterborough. Ideal candidates will demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and readiness for immediate employment. A basic to proficient level of English in speaking, reading, and writing is required. As a Forklift Operative, you will be adaptable to various tasks that may include packing, sorting, picking, dispatching, labeling, boxing, and palletizing.

Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor specializing in breakfast cereals. They are expanding their operations at a newly established facility in Orton Southgate, Peterborough. The site operates 24/7, with shifts scheduled from 06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00, primarily during weekdays.

Salary Details:

  • Base rate: £12.00 per hour
  • Day shift allowance: £0.68 = £12.68 per hour
  • Night shift allowance: £2.48 = £14.48 per hour
  • Overtime (after 48 hours): £18.00 per hour
  • Shift allowance applicable only on base hours

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Operating the Forklift
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers
  • Packing, inspecting, and labeling cereal products
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and yard
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Meeting daily productivity targets

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Flexi/Bendi license (RTITB or ITSSAR)
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, reach, and stretch
  • Ability to push and pull loads up to 15kg
  • Manual dexterity in both hands
  • Experience in a warehouse or production setting is preferred but not mandatory
  • Team-oriented with a focus on accuracy and detail
