About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our vending machines across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to machine failures in a timely and efficient manner to ensure minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Train staff on the operational features of our equipment and machines, ensuring that they are able to use them effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate with our Service Desk team to ensure that all calls are completed and updated in our in-house system, working towards first-time fault resolution.
  • Support site surveys and machine installations as required, ensuring that all equipment is installed and functioning correctly.
  • Maintain a smart and presentable appearance, with a flexible approach to work to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide cover to other areas as required by the Service Desk team to cover for holidays or sickness.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical, electrical, and mechanical role, preferably in the vending industry.
  • Basic electrical understanding and experience, with a strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Digital media experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service and problem-solving.
  • A self-motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a can-do approach to problem-solving.
  • A good team player, who is able to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A full UK driving licence, with a clean driving record.
