Key Responsibilities

Acquisitions Accounting:
  • Manage the accounting for the Group's acquisitions in accordance with IFRS 3 Business Combinations.
  • Collaborate with external advisors to ensure comprehensive documentation of transactions.
  • Analyze the financial implications of acquisitions for the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee the audit process for acquisitions, ensuring timely responses to auditor inquiries.
Group Financial Statements (IFRS):
  • Conduct monthly reviews of the Frasers Group PLC consolidation, including variance analysis.
  • Engage with external auditors throughout the year-end audit process.
  • Assist the Chief Accountant with complex accounting matters, including share schemes and foreign subsidiaries.
Property Accounting:
  • Oversee the accounting for property valuations and impairment.
  • Coordinate with internal and external advisors on property valuations for financial reporting.
  • Review forecasts and variances in collaboration with the property team.
  • Manage the audit process for property accounting, ensuring timely documentation for auditors.
Qualifications
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with over three years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of FRS102 and IFRS standards.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Resilient in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
