We are seeking a Front of House Assistant to join our team at The Lord Nelson, a popular pub in Southwold. As a Front of House Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth service, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers with a smile and provide a warm welcome
  • Set and clean tables and service areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  • Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and effectively
  • Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a pub, restaurant, or hotel environment is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts per week, including bank holidays and weekends
