Requirements
  • Appropriate NMC registration.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • Post-registration qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Diploma or degree in nursing.
  • Evidence of education to degree level.
  • Successful completion of a leadership and development programme (equivalent to the Internal Band 6 Leadership and Development programme).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 4 ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing a clinical area.
  • Knowledge of the PDPR process.
  • Evidence of working at Band 7.
  • Experience of budgetary management.
