We are seeking a highly skilled Ecologist to join our team at Emblaze Talent. As a leading talent solutions provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental consulting and a passion for delivering high-quality ecological services. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive ecological surveys, including Phase 1 and 2 Habitat (NVC) Surveys, to support our clients' planning and development projects.
  • Collaborating with our planning and architecture teams to provide expert ecological advice and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including major estates, private landowners, and local authorities.
  • Developing and implementing effective ecological strategies to minimize environmental impact and maximize biodiversity.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of ecological specialists to deliver exceptional results.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in an environmental-related field, such as ecology, conservation biology, or environmental science.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
  • Proven experience in ecological consulting, including Phase 1 and 2 Habitat (NVC) Surveys and protected species surveying.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A full UK driving licence.
