Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Criminal Solicitor to join our client's team in the UK. As a Duty Solicitor, you will work alongside a supportive team and manage your own caseload, participating in the out of hours Police Station rota and the Magistrates Court Duty Scheme.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Criminal Solicitor to develop their skills and assist with both legally aided and privately funded work. You will have the chance to work on a wide range of matters, including murders, serious sexual offences, and complex and high-value frauds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload, including preparing and presenting cases in court
  • Participate in the out of hours Police Station rota and the Magistrates Court Duty Scheme
  • Develop skills and assist with both legally aided and privately funded work
  • Work closely with a supportive team to achieve excellent client care and outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Criminal Solicitor qualification with Duty Status and Police Station Accreditation
  • A passion for delivering high-quality representation and client care
  • Strong legal skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent organisation, time-management, and interpersonal skills
