Personal Assistant to Senior Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant to the Service Director, Technology and Digital at South Gloucestershire Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all queries related to the Service Director, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Manage and coordinate the Service Director's diary, ensuring seamless scheduling and timely communication.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers, colleagues, and external partners, to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and matters.
- Prepare and draft high-quality communications, reports, and documents on behalf of the Service Director, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide administrative support services as needed, including data entry, filing, and other tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant to a senior manager or executive-level individual.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles and formats.
- Strong planning and task management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to take accurate and detailed meeting notes, minutes, and action items.
- Effective influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with collaboration tools, web applications, and other software systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
