TRAILER MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Maintenance Technician to join a leading firm in the transportation sector. This is a Permanent Position that offers excellent career advancement opportunities, with a competitive salary of £37,000 PLUS a £500 signing bonus and enhanced holiday benefits.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm

45 hours per week

Position Overview

The Trailer Maintenance Technician role is a Permanent Position that can start immediately, with flexibility to accommodate any notice period you may have with your current employer.

Role Responsibilities

As a Trailer Maintenance Technician, your duties will include inspecting, servicing, and repairing trailers to ensure they meet high maintenance standards. Your daily tasks will involve:

  • Conducting inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers to maintain high operational standards
  • Ensuring all vehicles comply with road traffic regulations and company policies
  • Performing brake, suspension, general repairs, six-week inspections, and routine servicing
  • Delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to deadlines

Candidate Requirements:

To qualify for the Trailer Maintenance Technician position, you must:

Have prior experience working with trailers

Be capable of completing necessary documentation and possess basic computer skills

Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Hold a valid UK Driving License

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous (but not mandatory):

Welding

Double deck maintenance
