About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Stakeholder Relationships Manager to join our team in the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast region. As an ambassador for Kāinga Ora, you will play a key role in engaging with the local community and stakeholder groups to support and drive mutually beneficial outcomes and strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on stakeholder engagement and community relations to support the delivery of Kāinga Ora's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Kāinga Ora to ensure the broader national goals of the organisation are met.
  • Lead the engagement with internal and external stakeholders around redevelopments and build programmes, and participate in organising and attending community events.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local and regional environment, including key stakeholders, community groups, and local government.
