Speech and Language Therapist for Children

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive team in the Children's Speech and Language Therapy service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and advice to children and young people aged 0-19, working in partnership with families, other health professionals, and colleagues in education.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake holistic assessments to determine a child's speech, language, and communication needs, and plan, implement, and evaluate care and determine goals and outcomes.
- Be responsible for assessment and intervention in a clinic setting, working from a centralised waiting list.
- Manage at least one school-contract based caseload as the service requires.
- Work clinically and care for children presenting with a wide range of conditions and treatment requirements, initiating and promoting excellence in clinical practice.
- Support initial assessment clinics as required.
- Support the wider team during times of sickness as directed by the team lead.
We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with:
- SLT Degree
- HCPC registration or applied for
- Evidence of relevant clinical experience
- Use of a variety of SALT assessments
