Position Overview:
An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Clinical Associate Specialist to join a distinguished healthcare facility. This role is based in a state-of-the-art low secure hospital dedicated to providing tailored assessment and recovery-oriented treatment pathways for women with intricate care requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and manage admissions for new patients.
- Gather comprehensive histories from families and other professionals.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Perform physical health evaluations and collaborate with GPs and Physical Health Nurses to enhance patient wellbeing.
- Draft discharge letters, reports, and SOAD forms.
- Facilitate the effective implementation of Care Programme Approaches and treatment plans.
- Work alongside the Pharmacist to ensure safe and evidence-based prescribing practices.
- Engage with external professionals and collaborate with commissioners to ensure smooth transitions to community care.
- Contribute to service enhancement through participation in Clinical Governance, quality initiatives, audits, research, and educational activities.
- Provide leadership to the clinical team under the guidance of the Consultant and prepare necessary reports for hearings.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in psychiatric settings within multidisciplinary teams.
- Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Recent appraisal or RITA within the last year.
- A minimum of three years' experience in Psychiatry.
- Prior experience as a physician in a similar healthcare environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £90,000 annually. This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard day schedule. In recognition of your dedication and hard work, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
