Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to spearhead the growth of our unique appliance care business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales advisors, managing customer campaigns, and driving sales performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to promote and sell our appliance care products.
  • Develop and execute customer campaigns to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Manage team performance, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Identify and assess individual training needs, delivering relevant training to enhance team performance.
  • Interview and select new hires, overseeing inductions and ensuring successful onboarding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Act as a technical reference point for the team, resolving product queries and providing expert advice.
  • Analyze and report on team and campaign performance, providing insights to inform business decisions.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £35,000, plus uncapped commission.
  • Holiday entitlement of 24 days holiday (rising to 29) + bank holidays.
  • 37.5-hour week, initially 11.30am - 7.30pm Monday to Friday.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in sales.
  • Experience of data analysis and campaign management.
  • Commerciality with exceptional contact centre management experience.
  • History of creating hiring plans and ability to train, develop, and retain talent.
  • Project management and process improvement experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of CRMs and advanced MS Office 365.
