Senior Data Scientist/Python Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist/Python Developer to join our team at Monks Associates Inc. As a key member of our marketing effectiveness division, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our client-facing tools and systems, as well as our core analytical approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance our suite of client-facing tools and solutions to ensure they remain marketing leading and seamlessly integrate with wider group initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions that prioritize speed, scalability, and security for all our systems.
  • Support our analyst teams in automating their processes and workflows, enabling them to focus on high-value tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to transform top-level ideas into concrete development plans, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Work closely with other development teams to ensure our solutions integrate effortlessly with their platforms and systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in developing high-performance, secure applications for clients and internal stakeholders using tools like Dash/Flask/Streamlit, with experience in R Shiny being highly valuable.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, particularly GCP or AWS, and experience in orchestrating and automating tasks in these environments.
  • Expertise in building solutions in Python using core data science libraries such as pandas, seaborn, sklearn, and statsmodels, with experience in R libraries like the tidyverse family, plotly, highcharter, nloptr, R6, and testthat being highly desirable.
  • Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or Postgres, as well as familiarity with solutions like Git and Docker.
  • Interest in marketing analytics and experience with techniques like Multi-Touch Attribution, Marketing Mix Modeling, or similar, with knowledge of machine learning techniques like Neural Nets, Random Forest, or XgBoost being beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and work independently or as part of a team on projects and solutions.
