Job Title: Plant Maintenance Engineer

You will join our team as a Plant Maintenance Engineer who will support the Site Manager with the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, planned downtime of key equipment for safe and cost-effective overhaul.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Site Manager with the PPM System
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform repairs as needed
Requirements:
  • Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in engineering, PLC controls, or electronics
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with materials handling
  • First aid certification
  • WAMITAB competency standards and NEBOSH general certificate
  • Cost control and budgeting experience
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Self-motivated and flexible team player
What We Offer:

  • 23 days leave (equivalent to 6.6 weeks holiday)

This is a full-time, permanent position working 42 hours per week on a rota, including weekends and call-outs. Overtime is paid for approved additional hours worked. A full UK driving licence is required, and you will have the ability to operate a telehandler truck and obtain a telehandler licence.
