About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Biogen (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anaerobic digestion (AD) plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site Manager with the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal plant performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems

Requirements:

  • Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in a related process industry
  • Experience in engineering, PLC controls, or electronics is an advantage
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with materials handling equipment
  • First aid training and WAMITAB competency standards
  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £40k pa, dependent on experience
