We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized patient care, assessing needs and developing care plans in accordance with agreed policies and professional guidelines.
- Ensuring timely transfers of patients from wards to the discharge lounge, promoting efficient capacity and flow.
- Leading the ward team during designated shifts, working under the supervision of senior staff.

Person Specification- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- NHS experience, either as a registered nurse or on a nursing student placement.
- Experience of working in an acute healthcare environment.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975.
