Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Kintec Global Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance services across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Maintenance Delivery: Oversee the maintenance delivery process to ensure it is carried out efficiently, effectively, and within budget.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Statutory Inspections: Manage the execution of statutory regulatory inspections, including PSSR, LOLER, and Compex.
- Contractor Management: Manage CIPS contractors to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Maintenance KPIs: Develop and track maintenance KPIs using our CMMS system, with a focus on moving to a proactive maintenance approach.
- Team Collaboration: Drive collaboration between maintenance and operations teams to drive a proactive engineering program.
- Deputy Site Engineering Manager: Deputise for the Site Engineering Manager in their absence.
- Site Responsible Electrical Engineer: Become the site responsible electrical engineer.
- Staff Development: Support the Engineering Manager in developing and strengthening the maintenance team through staff training, development, and competency assessment.
- Annual Plant Shutdown: Support the Engineering Manager in planning and delivering the annual plant shutdown safely, to budget, and schedule.
- Qualifications: HNC/degree in Electrical Engineering (or Mechanical and Electrical joint qualification).
- Working Towards Chartered Engineer Status: Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
- Experience: 5 years post-qualification experience with a focus on maintenance and reliability in a petrochemical/oil refining/chemical industrial environment.
- Team Management: Experience of managing multi-discipline teams.
- Safety and Risk Awareness: Strong safety and risk awareness mindset and ability to engage and connect with all staff and contractors effectively to deliver continued improvement and focus on HSE performance.
