About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Instructor to join our team at Trauma Resus. As a Medical Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of medical training courses across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality medical training courses to a variety of teams and individuals
  • Support the development of training programs to ensure clinical material is up-to-date and training delivery methods are engaging and effective
  • Act as a subject matter expert and represent the values and ethos of Trauma Resus
  • Ensure all training equipment is in good working order and fit for purpose
  • Support the internal clinical governance committee on matters related to training and equipment
  • Work with the lead IQA to ensure all external accreditation criteria are met and maintained
  • Support Trauma Resus exhibitions and conferences as required
  • Escalate concerns to a member of the clinical governance faculty as needed
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects as directed by the head of training

Requirements

  • Current professional registration with GMC, NMC, or HCPC
  • RCUK ALS/EPALS instructor qualification
  • Level 3 Teaching and Assessing qualification or above
  • HSE Offshore Medic qualification
  • Full UK driving license
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or equivalent qualification
  • Internal Quality Assurance experience
  • Advanced Rescue and Human Factors knowledge
