Trauma Resus is part of Gibb Group, a leading provider of PPE and MRO products and services, as well as a qualified supplier to the energy sector. Our extensive product range is backed by in-house expertise, ensuring our clients' Offshore teams and assets are protected at all times.
Role Summary
We are seeking a talented healthcare professional to join our team as a Medical Instructor. The successful candidate will deliver a wide range of medical training courses across the UK and Europe, including Immediate Emergency Care, EURIECA, First Response Emergency Care, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medical training courses independently, ensuring high standards of training delivery.
- Support the development of training programs, ensuring clinical material is up-to-date and training methods are engaging and effective.
- Act as a subject matter expert, representing the values and ethos of Gibb Medical & Rescue.
- Ensure all training equipment is in good condition and fit for purpose.
- Support the internal clinical governance committee on matters related to training and equipment.
- Work with the lead IQA to ensure external accreditation criteria are met and maintained.
- Support Trauma Resus exhibitions and conferences as required.
- Escalate concerns to a member of the clinical governance faculty as needed.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects as directed by the head of training.
Requirements
- Current professional registration with GMC, NMC, or HCPC.
- RCUK ALS/EPALS instructor certification.
- Level 3 Teaching & Assessing qualification or above.
- HSE Offshore Medic certification.
- Full UK driving license.
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or equivalent certification.
- Internal Quality Assurance experience.
- Advanced Rescue and Human Factors knowledge.
