About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Network Service Owner to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Network team, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of network technologies, including end-to-end enterprise connectivity and automation across various hosting and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify technical options and their advantages and disadvantages, and present to less technical audiences.
  • Provide technical leadership in large and small project engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and objectives, and ensure that technology operations meet these requirements.
  • Work with business units to identify and implement processes and automation to drive operational efficiencies and resolve any outstanding operational issues caused by technology.
Requirements
  • Deep technical understanding and design experience in several areas, including SDWAN, SASE/SSE, LAN Switching, Wireless Networking, Routing, and packet level traffic analysis.
  • Broad vision of industry standards, recent technologies, and key market trends.
  • Experience in Network Automation, including tools and common scripting languages, with experience of both technical incident investigation and project governance/change control of planned activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and collaborate across teams to deliver successful outcomes.
