Objective and Overview:
eTeam is seeking a skilled Compensation Operations Lead to oversee payroll functions, focusing on the assessment and development of innovative systems in collaboration with our Government partners, ensuring seamless integration into routine operations.
In this role, you will engage with client Programme Teams and Operational & Functional divisions to shape the future of our payroll and pension services. Regular collaboration with the Payroll Operations Manager will be essential to guarantee that new systems and their execution align with client and operational needs.
Additionally, you will partner closely with other Service Delivery and Customer Services managers and teams, as well as Client programme management offices, to maintain business process continuity.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Facilitating various programme meetings, planning sessions, and workshops aimed at the successful rollout of new systems.
• Collaborating with client Programme Managers to define specific payroll deliverables and milestones.
• Identifying gaps in existing business process documentation arising from implementation activities and making necessary adjustments.
• Coordinating with Service Delivery teams to ensure staff participation in testing events without disrupting regular operations.
• Leading payroll-related activities within overall projects, ensuring the successful execution of all planned end-to-end parallel run procedures.
• Serving as the operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all payroll-related functions, ensuring that best practices are integrated into the solutions.
• Engaging with pension providers to confirm that new system implementations align with their requirements and that these specifications are incorporated into the overall project.
• Keeping senior management and the Executive team informed about the progress of specific payroll implementations.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
• Proven experience in building and sustaining effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Managerial-level experience in payroll operations.
• Familiarity with SaaS solutions and experience in payroll system implementation projects.
• Up-to-date knowledge of payroll best practices.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on customer service and delivery.
• Analytical proficiency with the ability to interpret and present Management Information effectively.
