About the Role

Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agriculture Educator to join our team at the Barony Campus in Dumfries. As an Agriculture Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training to students in the field of agriculture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach general agriculture subjects, including those associated with cropping
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of agriculture programs, including FE, NC, HE, HNC/HND, BSc, and BSc (Honours) Agriculture
  • Participate in the Programme Management Team (PMT) at Barony Campus
  • Support student recruitment activities at Barony Campus
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant degree at SCQF Level 9 or above
  • Have a strong understanding of agriculture and its related subjects
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
