**THE JOB**

To support Dumfries, Stranraer and Castle Douglas Fuels Depots ensuring day to day compliance and HSE requirements are met. Supporting Dumfries drivers with morning route planning and providing day to day admin support for both Dumfries sales team and the Fuels Operations Manager.
- To drive operational efficiency by effectively supporting driver route planning and adhering to strategic plans for seasonal periods, ensuring logistics and resource is at optimal levels to cover busy workload periods and maximise profit.
- To manage strict adherence to all compliance, safety regulations and industry standards, so that the business remains fully compliant by conducting weekly and daily compliance / HSE checks.
- To lead a team of Drivers, ensuring resource requirements are met to cover delivery capacity.
- To support Dumfries sales team during busy peak periods, by answering sales calls and entering sales orders onto D365 system.
- To offload AdBlue & lubricant deliveries via forklift and store them inside our warehouse.
- To conduct stock takes on a 6 monthly basis of our lubricants, AdBlue and tank storage within our warehouse.
- To manage depot stock transfers and stock ordering.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**

**Essential**
- Proven experience in managing small teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision making and leadership skills.
- Reliable communicator, effective at documenting process and has a strong eye for detail.
- Effective customer service communication, with a proven track record of problem solving and skilfully handling conflict resolution whilst remaining professional and always exemplifying our company values and expectations.

**Desirable**
- Previous forklift driving experience; however, full training and certification will be provided if need be.
- In-depth knowledge of oil and gas production processes, logistics and distribution.
