Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Barclays Bank UK PLC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the digital infrastructure that underpins our risk models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for risk model development, deployment, and execution.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices to protect the integrity and confidentiality of risk model data and systems.
Assistant Vice President Expectations
  • Consultation and Advice: Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.

Requirements
  • Cisco, FortiGate, and F5 LTM/GTM experience.
  • Cisco, Juniper Routing, and Switching, F5 Load Balancers, Cisco Campus Wireless, Bluecoat / Symantec Proxy / zScaler skills.

This role can be based out of either Glasgow or Knutsford.
