Job Overview

NES Fircroft is partnering with a leading water treatment company to recruit a highly skilled Lead Project Engineer, Electrical & Control bias, to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the electrical and controls design of water treatment assets globally, ensuring compliance with CE marking and UKCA certifications.
  • Provide electrical and controls support for the execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile, and BOO projects, with a focus on timely delivery and budget management.
  • Responsible for design execution, including skilled electrical and control panel designs, equipment selection and sizing, and PLC designs, troubleshooting, and integration.
  • Collaborate with fabrication facilities, sourcing, and product management to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead, coach, and train outsource engineering teams on detailed designs and drawings, and conduct HAZOPs and product safety reviews.
  • Perform site visits for commissioning and troubleshooting, and provide technical expertise to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science field, or related technical experience.
  • Relevant water treatment experience, with a strong understanding of electrical control and mechanical designs.
  • Qualifications or certifications in electrical design and installations, with a focus on water process expertise.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, with experience in PLC designs and integrations.
  • Ability to drive projects and meet deadlines, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
