About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee High Intensity Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in mental health services, working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a caseload of clients, providing high-intensity therapy interventions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service targets and outcomes
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Neuroscience, or a BABCP-recognized core profession)
  • Ability to meet either route to eligibility: core mental health profession with 2 years' post-qualification experience or 4 years' relevant mental health experience with a complete KSA portfolio
  • Some knowledge and experience of CBT
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in a stepped care service for anxiety and depression
  • Evidence of foundation-level or sustained CPD in CBT
  • Evidence of using CBT techniques in practice
