About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Plug Me In – EV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering electrical installation projects for EV charging solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Ensure each project is managed and delivered in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including CDM 2015 Principal Designer.
  • Design and Installation: Design the electrical installation required for the EV charging solution and manage the installation process.
  • Quotations and Surveys: Produce project quotations and complete surveys to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Compliance and Quality: Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to site operatives, control electrical safety, and quality of works.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure full compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards and take ownership of personal health and safety responsibilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Qualifications: City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation / Electrotechnical technology (Time served - AM2)
  • Industry Experience: Project management experience within a similar role, experience within the EV/Utilities/Electrical industries with good knowledge of project lifecycles within this industry
  • Technical Skills: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, 2391 Inspection & Testing, SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Personal Qualities: Approachable with customers, in both domestic and commercial sector, good IT skills, and willingness to complete necessary training to become compliant with Plug Me In's standards, policies & procedures
