Deputy Chief Financial Officer Job Description

Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our financial plan for 2023/24 and implementing our medium-term financial recovery plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Directors, and other key staff to ensure a clear understanding of our financial position and forecast outturn.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team and Project Management Office (PMO) to develop and implement efficiency savings initiatives.
  • Identify and work through additional efficiency opportunities with the PMO and Divisional leads.
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing the programme to monitor and manage financial risks and mitigations.
  • Work with key stakeholders to reduce bank and agency headcount and expenditure.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working at CFO level or Deputy CFO level in complex, challenging NHS acute providers.
  • Demonstrable experience of contributing to delivery of financial improvement programmes.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivery of challenging objectives/projects/programmes.
  • Knowledgeable of NHS financial issues.
