Financial Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at CMA Recruitment Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and month-end procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank statements, complete VAT returns, and manage balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, annual budgets, and support year-end audits with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to Directors and ensure best financial practices to drive business growth.
  • Manage Directors' earnings for tax returns, oversee pension accounts, chair management meetings, and report on key office metrics to ensure effective financial management.
Requirements:
  • Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or qualified by experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communicator with strong business acumen and ability to train and support finance staff.
  • Proactive and adaptable with a results-driven mindset and ability to collaborate with the management team.
